    Hi, my name is Daniela.

    I am an Independent Graphic Designer, Coach-Consultant, and Author. I create visual identities for companies, brands, products and events, but also help entrepreneurs create and manage their visual brand on their own.

     

    I created The MAGIC of Visuals online course to allow non-designer professionals improve their visual communication and branding.

     

    My book "Visual Communication & Graphic Design" was published by Editions Eyrolles, and you can find it (in French) on Amazon and the FNAC.

  • My Story

     

    I was born in Rome to Artist parents, and grew up in Italy, Israel, New York and France. After two years of obligatory service in the Israeli Army, I studied Philosophy and Art History at the Tel Aviv University. I graduated from the "Penninghen" Design School in Paris in 1985 with a Master’s degree and won two Gold Dragon Medals. I work in French, English, Hebrew, and some Italian too.

     

    My career with clients worldwide can be roughly divided into 3 decades of growing expertise:

    1. A decade designing and directing television graphics for channels in Paris, London and Israel.
    2. Another decade specializing in newspaper and magazine design, creating new publications or redesigning existing layouts.
    3. A third decade designing for public and private businesses, helping them define and implement their visual brand identities.

    Some other facts about me:

    • I worked as the in-house Art Director of a monthly consumers' magazine.
    • I love math, numbers, puzzles, logic riddles and abstract thinking.
    • Working as a film director of ads, music videos, corporate films and documentaries was awesome, but I needed my life back ;)
    • I paint on walls and furniture (when no one's looking)
    • I create Illustrations for children books
    • I coach Non-Designers who want to create their branding and visual communication
    • After hours, I'm also a Jazz vocalist, a pianist, a belly dancer, and a cat-mom.
